Welcoming the Autumnal Equinox

A Special Evening of Candlelight Therapeutic Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Friday September 21, 6:00 – 8:00p

Autumn is a time of transition as well as a celebration of the Earth’s coming harvest. Whether you’re cheering or jeering the end of the summer season, treat yourself to this remarkable journey inwards. After a brief “work in”, we’ll enjoy a fully supported and nourishing Therapeutic Restorative practice followed by a dreamy Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), systematically relaxing all the koshas (layers of the self) and guiding us into a relaxed state of being. The Restorative/Nidra combination will bring a unique awareness of body and breath, leading to many wonderful benefits including profound relaxation, reduced levels of stress and anxiety, and a greater sense of overall well-being. Each guest Leaves (get it?) with an activated “relaxation response.

Yoga for Anxiety

Anxiety and stress can be debilitating and all consuming. It can create feelings of low self esteem, panic, defeat and overwhelm.  Affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year, making it the most common mental health condition. Lisa is one of them. From personal experience Lisa shares how it can have limitations on opportunities, memories and life, shackling us down and not allowing us to live life to the fullest. 
Join Lisa, in this workshop as she tells you little bit about her story and how she manages her anxiety day to day, She will instruct a gentle yoga class follow by meditation, breathing exercises and mantras/affirmations, and have some of her favorite essential oil blends to help you tackle your anxiety. Arm yourself with the tools and knowledge to calm your nervous system and lead a happier, healthier life.

Meet the Teacher

Come meet Nicole for a Gentle Yoga Plus Reiki Class. This 60 minute flow will focus on strength and flexibility in a gentle way with an introduction to the healing benefits of Reiki. Nicole has been practicing yoga for about 6 years. What started as an interest in gaining flexibility soon turned into an ongoing journey of holistic wellness. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2016 at Journey Om Yoga. Nicole is also a reiki master practitioner and health/life coach.

BALANCING THE BODY

A 6-week journey toward Healthy Hips and Spine

New session beginning September 26

Please join Danielle as we explore the anatomy and yoga supporting our precious hips and spine.  Each week we will focus on a specific area, learning not only how interconnected we are, but emerging with a clearer understanding of how to help realign and better balance our bodies through self-care, self study, and yoga.

Week 2: The Sacrum – the Heart of the Spine

Week 3: The Lumbar – the Sweet Spot

Week 4: The Core – the Fire Within

Week 5: The Shoulders, Upper Back, & Neck (SNUB) – the Support

Week 6: The Body -- the Whole Being

Each participant will receive one Integrated Positional Therapy (IPT) appointment with Danielle to assess individual imbalances and ultimately work toward balance

Cost: $135 for 6 week program (cash or check only).

Drop ins welcome (at $35 per session) with prior approval and as space permits
